I suppose the timing of this post isn’t great, given that Thailand is currently experiencing a coup and a huge reduction in tourism. However, I’ve been working on it for some time, so here goes…

Thailand: Bangkok Water Fights
Coming back through Bangkok, we’d managed to time it so that we had a morning there during Songkran Festival. The Thai new year festival is most famous for its water fights. Anyone out and about in Thailand during the 3 days of the festival will get drenched and covered in chalk.
Thailand: Bangkok Take 1
We’ve just spent our first couple of days in Bangkok. We’re seeing Bangkok in a few stages, using it as a spring board for other trips due to it’s convenient geographic location and free tourist visa.
